The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Tribal Court was created to provide a fair and efficient system of justice for all with respect to tradition and culture. The Court is committed to excellence, fostering public trust, and seeks to promote and support the health, welfare and development of its Tribal Membership now and in the future.
The Tribal Court exercises specific civil jurisdiction over Indians and non-Indians who either reside on the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation, transact business on the reservation, and/or have consented to Tribal jurisdiction, or acted in a way that may bring them within the jurisdiction of the Tribe according to Tribal law.
The Tribal Court, including the judge, and all court staff, must remain impartial at all times. This basic rule protects everyone coming to court, including you, from unfairness and injustice.
Tribal Court staff can provide information about the court's procedures, however, the Tribal Court staff cannot provide legal advice, suggestions, or recommendations about what to do.
If you need legal advice, you can contact a private attorney.
