Tribal GIS provides support to all Tribal Government Divisions, including: Planning & Development, Government Affairs, Tribal Programs, Tribal Administration, and Tribal Education Services. Since opening an in-house GIS office in 2002, GIS has become an important tool in managing, regulating, and protecting Tribal resources. In addition to providing maps, the GIS Group maintains an extensive database of current and historical spatial data that is used for analysis and decision-making purposes by the Tribal Government.
